WEBSITES FOR SALE LETTER
This is FINCHES, a Holding website template for the domain name http://finches.co.za.
I have started to build up the content for this pet website, offering a different range of pet related products.
I plan a few sections where you could have a number of bird related products, and equally still be able to add a whole variety of different animal and pet related products.
However if you have a pet shop, you would just as easily be able to direct business straight to that shop – wherever the shop is.
Naturally you could add a payment section to any website and have a mail order section that would become very lucrative over time.
The real test of any website is in the quality of its content. When a visitor arrives at a website and it is appealing to them, they will tend to stay. This is the cornerstone to having a successful online website based business.
However all of that becomes null and void if no one is able to find that website.
Google places a website on the top of its search results based upon a number of factors.
FACTOR NUMBER ONE.
The actual websites domain address, so in this case it would be finches.co.za.
Google aligns the domain address with the search terms, and therefore if that matches you get placed over any other equal website for those search terms.
If someone searches for finches on Google then you have the best chance of any website to be placed onto the first page of the results.
FACTOR NUMBER TWO.
The actual keywords used in the search must be placed in the TITLE of your webpage.
FACTOR NUMBER THREE.
The same and similar keywords need to be in a place called “meta tags” and then placed strategically all around your website.
Most of these factors take care of themselves if you are supplying related content within the body of the website.
FACTOR NUMBER FOUR.
Relevant and related content and preferably more than ten pages – thirty pages is considered the point where you go past being a lightweight site and start to become an authority website.
FACTOR NUMBER FIVE.
Visitor’s length of visit -the longer a visitor stays on your website the more value it gains in the “eyes” of Google. The theory being that if the content on your website is crap then your visitor’s disappear fast, and if they stayed for 15 minutes then they are happily reading your stories.
FACTOR NUMBER SIX.
Social bookmarks and back links. This factor is absolutely critical to the position your website will attain in the results page. Currently Google places a very high score to the amount of Backlinks that you have. The most Backlinks wins.
Back linking includes things like article writing and a few other aspects.
While this is very necessary to the placing of your site in the search engine results, it is easy work, but a little tedious and boring.
Most websites fail very badly here in this category and that is good news because you will be able to pass them easily if you do consistent and daily work.
